Darren Tellier D.TCM, R.Ac - Acupuncturist, Herbalist & Clinical Director

Darren has 13 years experience practicing complimentary medicine. His training in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as earlier studies in philosophy have lead him to appreciate the complexity of modern syndromes and mind-body health issues and are often difficult to define with conventional medicine.
Along with acupuncture, Darren uses the compounding dispensary at Meridian Health to create patient-specific herbal prescriptions for the unique needs of each individual.
As director of Meridian Health, he works to foster a clinical environment where the wisdom of Traditional medicines provides context to rehabilitation and recovery.
Outside of the clinic, Darren has served as the Executive Director of the College & Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta, currently he works as a Faculty Member in the Grant MacEwan University Acupuncture program.
Thu Nguyen BSc, RMT – Registered Massage Therapist

Thu graduated from Grant MacEwan University’s 2200 hour Massage Therapy Diploma Program. She received extensive training in massage techniques such as Hydrotherapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, Muscle Energy and Joint Mobilizations. She also has had experience in treatment for special populations such as Pregnancy Massage, Infant Massage, Geriatric Massage, and Sports Massage.
She is currently an active member in good standing with the MTAA (Massage Therapists Association of Alberta), which ensures a high standard of quality and safe care through their mandatory continuing education and professional development policy.
Alicja Gruszczynski BA, Ed. Cert, DCH - Homeopath
Alicja has an enduring personal interest in human health and wellbeing. She is a graduate of the four year program of studies at the Vancouver Homeopathic Academy where she studied classical homeopathy primarily under Murray Feldman and Susan Gimbel. As a committed practitioner, she has attended seminars by internationally respected homeopaths to further the depth of her homeopathic expertise. Alicja brings five decades of life and academic learning to her current practice. Her certification in Applied Counselling (UM, 1998) has enhanced her homeopathic skills to aid clients in their pursuit of wellness. Alicja’s objective is to help people return to health and a synchronistic balance through thorough and compassionate care.
Alicja is passionate about the benefits of homeopathy and welcomes clients interested in homeopathic care for themselves and their families.
